Blackheath Park, Blackheath

A unique 4-bed new build house in Blackheath, South London. The project reflects our client’s desire to create a highly contemporary family home with lots of natural light. The house is arranged over three floors which are connected via a feature concrete and oak staircase. The open plan living spaces are connected with the rear garden through the large expansion of glazing. The first floor projects at the rear to provide shading to the modern colonnaded walkway. Movable timber screens on the first floor level provide additional shading. A large flexible space has been provided in the basement and is used as a gym and play room. A simple reduced material palette and white spaces ensures natural light reflects deep into the floor plan.
