Cannon Place, Hampstead

Renovation and extension to an existing Grade II* listed property in Cannon Place, Hampstead. The proposed single storey side extension houses a new formal dining room. The room sits within the slope of the landscape, which is felt inside and outside. One side of the dining room is half-buried in the ground, whilst the other opens out onto the garden. This change is articulated in the glazing, which gradually increases in size as the ground slopes down. Works also included full refurbishment of the grand four storey property.
