Chevening Road, Queen’s Park

A three-storey semi-detached residential project includes the complete full house refurbishment and construction of a new basement. The large 300sqm basement beneath the existing property has generous lightwells at the front and rear to ensure the basement rooms receive plenty of natural light. A wide external staircase, made from solid sandstone, provides access to the rear garden from basement level. A cantilevered window on the ground floor is suspended over the lightwell stair landing, providing framed views of the rear garden. Meticulous material consideration and detailing through out - a lightweight steel staircase and an extensive bespoke joinery package, elevate this previously under-appreciated property.
